My Munich

Where tradition and innovation meet

Since 2008 I have been living in Munich, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe!! It was love at first sight!!

Behind its classic Florentine facades and austere blocks I discovered creative and artistic districts and contemporary architectural structures.

Its style and liveliness give credibility to the local saying that Munich is the northernmost of Italian cities. Heinrich Heine wrote of the city on the Isar as “the great pillar of that bridge of relations that goes from northern Germany to southern Italy”.

But the most beautiful thing I have discovered about Munich in all these years is a city that follows the principle of “live and let live”, where tradition goes hand in hand with innovation, which is why so many passionate people from different countries coexist peacefully.

What I love most about my job is taking people on a discovery tour through my city from its foundation, to its evolution over the centuries until today.

As a member of the Association of Tourist Guides of Munich and the Federal Association of Tourist Guides in Germany, my work stands for a high level of quality.

I am also a certified guide in the following institutions:

  • Museum of Science and Technology (Deutsches Museum)
  • Bavarian Administration of State Palaces, Gardens and Lakes (Bayerische Verwaltung der staatlichen Schlösser, Gärten und Seen)
  • The White Rose Foundation (Weisse Rose Stiftung)
  • Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site

I studied at the Faculty of Law in Palermo and practised as a civil lawyer for almost 20 years, both in Italy and Germany.

During the pandemic, I decided to follow my vocation and passion for art, history, literature and music and make them my job.

In 2023, I attended the Training School for Official Guides at the Tourist Office of the City of Munich.

My new job fascinates me on a daily basis, I like to meet new people from all over the world every day, to share the historical and artistic side of my city, to show places and monuments, to reveal curiosities between legend and truth.
