What is the White Rose? Who were the members of the White Rose? The group courageously opposed the Nazi regime by distributing leaflets calling for resistance against Hitler and the Nazis. Their non-violent opposition to injustice and their willingness to sacrifice their lives for their convictions made the White Rose a symbol of resistance and the fight for freedom and humanity. We will visit LMU University, see where the terrible Gestapo was located and walk along the corridors of the Palace of Justice to the courtroom where the trials against the members of the White Rose took place.
